Gabala head coach Sanan Gurbanov talks to media reporters right after the 2:0 trial match victory on Keshla in Baku. The 38-year-old boss says:
“It was the last preseason trial match. I tasked the players to play better after last three days of the trainings. We can say they well responded to the task. It was a good game with a chance of knowing the league opponent. The new transfers are getting better in their preparation and this makes us happy.
Javid Huseynov, who has to miss the early three tours, is a good footballer and captain for Gabala. We need his leader skills but will try to play not suffering from his absence. Elvin Jamalov and Sabien Lilay made me satisfied by their performances that responded well to the task.
Sabail, the opponent side in the first tour of the season, is a team updated with some good footballers. They include both domestic and foreign players. This year, the league teams seem renewed and we have seen Keshla, too, today. The leagues are going into faster and warmer experience this season”.
