Gabala played against Baku in 1:1 within the 11th tour of the Topaz Premier League.

Today, the Topaz Premier League 11th tour has taken pace from Gabala with our home match against Baku where the pairs shared the 1:1 result.

Romanian head coach of Gabala introduced the starting lineup by the only difference with Elvin Jamalov replacing Ruslan Abishov.

With the very early minutes of the show, Gabala looked with much passion to gain victory as they could set up some threats at the other end. Right after the starting whistle, the red-black side came out with their first occasion when Yazalde Pinto”s long-range shot was denied by the opponent keeper. The quick inroads of Gabala into the visitor”s defensive line seemed as a matter of time before Dodo set up a clinical finish after a superb pass from Javid at the edge of the box – 1:0. It appears to be the earliest goal of Gabala in the season. A bit later, Ekigho Ehiosun looked much close to doubling our lead but he failed to touch the ball in close range. Then Baku came from behind to level with Nuran Gurbanov near the spot taking precise shot.

It was Gabala again being faster after the restart before the visitors could balance the game to turn it into mutual attacks. Although some many efforts from both sides, there were no more pulsating threats on the night. To step up Gabala”s inroads, Munteanu introduced Abishov, Mendy and Cristea. But their further warm-up efforts could not change the matter of 1:1.

Gabala ended with their 3rd home draw of the season extending their points up to 18.
