Gabala’s two players came on Azerbaijan national team’s match against Northern Ireland within the Qualifying Round of the World Cup at the Tofig Bahramov Satdium, Baku. Javid Huseynov was a part of the starting line-up during the full time while Araz Abdullayev appeared in the 90th minute. The European team won by 1:0.

This was Huseynov’s 48th experience for the provisional squad having two goals as Abdullayev arrived to his 22nd and has only one goal.
