Gabala U12 1:3 Zenit U12

Group mathces of the Young Talents Cup - 2012 in Saint Petersburg of Russia reaches to the end. In the last, 4th, match of the stage, Gabala U12 played against domestic FC Zenit. 

The Russian team started well and consequently finished the half on top with 0:2. Gabala created a momentum after the break that took our young players to their first goal minimizing the goal difference. Samir Gurbanov kick his through ball that found the opponent net - 1:2. Our U12 kept the sustained period of pressure but Tabriz Isazadeh and Samir Gurbanov were unable to equalize on some occasions. And drawing the Gabala defence to counter attacks, Zenit scored their 3rd.

Now Gabala U12 lost the last match of the group stage at the 3rd place of the tournament table among 5 teams, but still keeping their tally to the match for 9th-12th tiers. Our closest opponents in this stage are Kanaplov Football Academy team of Russia.
