Gabala 1:3 Kanaplov Academy

Finishing the group matches on the 3rd tier of the Young Talents Cup - 2012, Gabala U12 have faced Kanaplov Football Academy team of Russia at the match for the 9th-12th places.

The pace of the game started with quick pressures of the team from Tolyatti. Gabala looked tired at the 3rd event of the day and it led to the 0:2 result of the first half in the favour of the opponents.

But it was Gabala being faster after the restart and working into the other end by some threats. It seemed just a matter of time before Samir Gurbanov superbly finished the delivery from Orkhan Abdullayev on the right post - 1:2. But counter attack in the closing minutes reached the Kanaplov to their 3rd goal. So our U12 ended the show in their 1:3 deficit.

Now the young talents of Gabala are ahead of their last encounter to come Sunday. They will play for the 11th-12th places against the opponents that will be known at early tomorrow.
