Gabala U17 came on the last match of the Snaf Mondial Cup in Saint-Nazaire, France, for the 9th-10th places. The red-black team, coached by Zaur Hajiyev, lost to Monaco (France) with 1:0. The result left Gabala ending tenth on th e contest table. The tournament’s trophy was lifted up by Palmeiras (Brazil) as Zenit (Russia) ended runners-up and Van (France) took the third place.

Just to remember the earlier games of the tournament, Gabala lost to Monaco with 0:3, Anje (France) with 0:1 and Benfica (Portugal) by 0:1 in the Group A. Then going into the games for the 9th-16th places, our team won on Brest (France) by 1:0 and ended in 1:1 with Tuluza (France) taking 3:2 penalty shootout victory.
