Gabala footballer Urfan Abbasov has scored for the Azerbaijan national team in a friendly against Kyrgyzstan at the Baku Olympic Stadium. He was a part of the 3:0 victory coming up in the starting line-up. He held on during the full time and sealed in the third goal in the 84th minute. This appears as Abbasov’s first goal in his all five appearances for the provisional squad.

It’s worth to remind Azerbaijan are going to face Kazakhstan on June 5 and Latvia on June 9. For both away matches, Gabala’s five players have been called to the national team. They are Javid Huseynov, Ilgar Gurbanov, Tamkin Khalilzadeh, Ruslan Gurbanov and Urfan Abbasov.
