Gabala updated the contract with Vitaliy Vernydub to the next season. The Ukrainian footballer has been playing for Roman Grigorchuk’s team since June 2015. He won the bronze medal of the 2015-2016 season’s league before earning the silverware of the 2016-2017 term. The defender scored three goals in his all 53 appearances. He came on the scoresheet with two goal in 25 Premier League and one goal in 22 Europa League. Vernydub appeared also in six Azerbaijan Cup games.
