Gabala are going to face Mil Mughan in the first leg match of the Azerbaijan Cup season with the round of 16. Just before the game, Brazilian red-black player Ricardinho Rerreira talks to gabalafc.az:

“We have to take the victory in this game to put an end to the winless run of some last matches. Gabala will play in their best to drive much benefits for this. It means nothing that the opponent team is a 1st division championship side, and we will come on the pitch with a respectful mind about them. They seem as promising rivals while they are performing in the cup.

We are keeping the same philosophy of playing against all team, no matter who are the opponents. Our squad will just push to winning. We will try and show good attacks on the field also with a good back defensive line. Gabala is targeting to concede no goal in this game and kick exact shots into the opponent net.

And another match coming up is against Khazar Lankaran in the 15th tour of the Topaz Premier League this weekend. We will try and hit the 2nd win after the cup game against Mil Mughan. The aim is to progress up to possible higher stage on the league table before leaving to the winter break”.
