Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to mass media a day before the away match against PAOK (Greece) in the 5th tour of the UEFA EL C group fixed to Thursday, November 26. The Ukrainian skipper says:
“I am expecting an excellent performance from my team against PAOK tomorrow night. It means a good show and victory. I want we to be able to keep unbeaten streak of Gabala against the Greek teams.
We are having a great spirits on this fixture taking into account no matters about PAOK”s current circumstances. We are much convinced that Gabala will win.
Our injured players also are recovered and now ready to the match. They all are training while only Dodo is out of the work-out proceedings. And those recovered footballers are not in their best forms after 2 to 3 weeks of break. But anyway, we will give them a chance to come on the pitch in risk.
The tie between Borussia and Krasnodar will give result before our game against PAOK, and if the German side win it means we can still go through.
This continental championship gave us a great experience and taught us how to go ahead, progress into better future. We were much happy being able to hit the group stage. Now Gabala will try with their all power to strike to the round of 32, wishing it to happen this season. I wish this both to my team and Garabagh. This experience rises the Azerbaijan football reputation.
We gave up some basic points on the league table. I wish we take the victory and also have a chance to settle the result of the C group stage at our own pitch”.
