Gabala coach Sanan Gurbanov talks to media reporters right after the goalless away draw against Sabail in the 14th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The 38-year-ol boss says:
“We were all for the victory. My team out on the show some tasks we worked on the pre-match preparations. But they were unable to convert them into scoring. There were some chances for the opponent side, too, but we held on. We were the side with more passion for the victory to prevent the point extension on the league table.
Although the result is not satisfying, the game was of hopeful as my team were responding well to the tasks after analyzing the opponents before the game. This let us to set up threats tonight. But we were unable to convert the occasions into goals.
Now we are ahead of the second half of the season. And I hope Gabala will set up a winning streak over the next year.
We aren’t planning to break deal with any footballer in the team during the winter break. We are targeting to strengthen the current squad and maybe you will see new players in the team”.
