We believed to win, reserves coach says

With the 15th tour of the reserves league, Gabala beat Baku 1:0 putting an end to the unbeaten streak of the capital city team in all the 14 season matches. Head coach of Gabala substitutes talks to gabalafc.az revealing his confidence about his squad:

“Our opponents had showed their real level actually by their earlier performances and victories. That is why we knew it would be a high-pressure game. Our first tie with Baku also was a warm-up show that we lost. But this time, the all team believed to win the victory and we got this".

The Spaniard specialist says his men are developing day by day to be fitting to the proper system:

“Since the first day, we aim to fit into a team game set in a pitch. The players in the staff already well understand this working hard to respond to their tasks with their bests. Now in this match, we proved that Gabala reserves are a team giving no spaces in a field, and we are able to grind out the better result. This is the same soccer methodology operating at the Gabala Football Academy. This helps the young players to evolve into my squad”.
