Gabala coach Elmar Bakhshiyev talks for a post-match reaction right after the 1:1 away against Zira within the 7th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The 38-year-old skipper says:
“We knew it would be a tough mission and focused on this in our preparations. It was difficult to recover the team’s confidence after the match against Neftchi. And we didn’t practice any down go psychologically tonight. Zira are a promising team built up by good local and foreign footballers.
I’m satisfied by my team and see their resilience. We drive out more benefits from every single match. The draw is a natural result. Injured Rasim Ramaldanov left the country for surgery as his muscular ligaments are broken. He will stay off football for 4 to 5 months. And we have good players to fix his space.
Davit Volkov responds to tasks in his best but at times he fails on some occasions. I think it will be cleared in the upcoming games”.
