“Actually we expected the forum to be such difficult as Baku had been defeated in the last week. And they came on to win. We did lack our some talented players. Omar Kalabane was injured, Aleksandr Chertoganov was in his ban period and Nodar Mammadov was poisoned just before the game.

We were playing in a reduced staff within 60 minutes, but our team held on and struggled not to give the game away. I appreciate my players for this. I would say Gabala gave away only 2 points in this match. We are going to prepare for the next game after a three-day break”.
