Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks right after the 1:0 home win over Sumgayit in the 5th tour of the topaz Premier League. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“It was a difficult match as I expected to be. Sumgayit is a very fast team, and you should keep up the same speed like them. So Gabala held the opponents under the sustained pressure and ground out a better result.

From those coming on the pitch 4 days ago, Aleksey Gai, as well as Dodo scored from the penalty spot, were working hard all the match time.

My team played not bad, but we need to show a better performance in both UEFA EL and domestic league.

We are glad with our results although Gabala lost the match against Inter Baku that we deserved to win. Actually it is possible to loose even while you are the only attacking side on the show.

Gabala also could have taken the game against PAOK where we played really fine”.
