Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media reporters right after the 3:0 loss to Krasnodar (Russia) in the last 6th tour match of the UEFA Europa League C group. The Ukrainian skipper says:
“The EL season has ended for Gabala. We performed not bad in the group stage and figured out what we have to work on for the next. My team got a great chance to play in such a heavy match schedule and also a great experience in the UEFA EL. All these will help the team much in the future.
Now we have to look ahead and work on shortages. Only well prepared players get a chance to make starting lineup. We started really well and took the lead. We were all but out driving no benefits from some many occasions. I don”t claim my players and expressed my satisfactory response to them. After Andrey Popovic conceded goal in his mistake I told him not feel down during the half-time. And he performed a good resilience after the restart.
In general, I am satisfied with my squad”s performance. Dodo and Oleksiy Antonov also played well although they were ill”.
