Gabala coach Sanan Gurbanov talks to media reporters right after the 1:0 victory on Sabah in the return match of the Azerbaijan Cup Round of 8. The 38-year-old boss says:

“We had some mistakes in the first tie, which we analyzed deeply. And now it’s gratifying the footballers well responded to my tasks. It was a great job by Gabala as they were almost free from mistakes. It was Gabala with more occasions on the show.

After the winter break, we have to drive the things more in a systematic way towards the targets. Tonight, my team made themselves proud and showed their confidence once again. I congratulate my team and Gabala fans on the victory. I believe in my squad. You can talk in your confidence when you see good results of preparations. We need more victories after the winter break to reach opponents. But we have to work out more using the enogh space of time ahead of us. Now the target is to get a foothold in the top three as there is not a big difference of points. We will be all to keep up our progress until the end of the season”.
