Gabala’s Nika Kvekveskiri talks to gabalafc.az after the 12th day if the Antalya training camp in Turkey. He says:
“It was not good starting to the camp with 2-day delay. But we worked harder to restore those lost days. We have had three trial matches. Although result doesn’t matter, winning makes you happy in every match, even in a street football. Victory boosts confidence and encourages you forward. Now we are working on some important points in our display. And we have no players suffering from a serious injury. There ar only some damages.
The training proceedings are going really well and I am convinced this will help us to be Azerbaijan champions this season for our first time. Usually, you need two to three games after a training camp to be in your best form. We will be quite ready to the first match of the year against Sumgayit. We will make our best start so to keep going up and hit the target at the end of the season. There will be some lacks in our staff for the first tie, but we have players to replace them”.
