The World Olympic Shooting Cup in, Gabala, has come to end with 34 bunches of medals. The international campaign, organized Gabala Shooting Club and Azerbaijan Shooting Federation under support of the National Olympic Committee and Ministry of Youth and Sports, was joined by 281 U21 challengers from 27 countries. Eighteen individuals and sixteen teams have been awarded from 18 countries.
The Russian team go more ahead than any other sides with 12 gold, 9 silverware and 4 bronze medals. The Indian team are the second with 9 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze medals as the third Norway won four gold and one bronze medal.
Gabala added one initiative for the first for the world campaign organizing mixed shooting contest between teams. The trial compitition was joined by delegates from the International Sport Shooting Federation and shooting federations of the participating countries. Men and women challengers shot from rifle and pistols in positions of 10, 25 and 50 meters.
Just to remember, the September 18-22 championship, is the second stage of the World Cup after the earlier stage in Germany.
The Azerbaijan national team had joined the contest with 11 stand and 14 bullet shooters.
