Gabala's head coach Yuri Semin talks to gabalafc.az sharing his impression on the results of the first league round. He thinks good about the things:

“If someone said, before the season start, you would take the 3rd tier with 16 points after the first round to stay only 2 levels behind the lead, I would be satisfied with that. Because, our team was only forming and we got some many new players. So the squad were not set in a complete form. But now it does not satisfies me as we let some points go away and Neftchi went up ahead. I think we should have won all other the games.

We met all our league opponents and I saw nothing to make me surprised by their tactics. But we just were not in our best. It could be well evidence with matches against Sumgayit and Simurg. And our rivals were the facts preventing us from our best. They already see us as strong opponents and well prepare against us.
