Azerbaijan’s SC Gabala judoka Imran Yusifov has won the European Youth Cup final in Prague, Czech. The Gabala hero, +100 kg, beat Marsel Skalets from Croatia and took the gold medal.

Just to remember, he made his way to the all-important match through victories on Yevgeni Belyavski (Ukraine) and Jonas Schreiber (Germany) progressing into the semifinal. Then he beat another German opponent Fabian Meyer. Yusifov was among 437 challengers from 39 countries.

It’s worth to notice, Imran had taken the bronze medal of the European Youth Cup in Antalya, Turkey, 3 years ago.
